Dancing in the rain at the Cruinnich Festival Yieldshields

The Circle dancers were delighted to be invited to participate in the first Cruinnich Festival on the 5th August 2023 in Yieldshields, Carluke, South Lanarkshire

The festival was a day of holistic activities workshops and music. Ticket holders were able to enjoy the WimHof Method Fundemental Workshop (sitting in an ice bath),Soul Flow, Cacao Ceremony, Glass Walk, Meditation, Sound Bath, Shamanic journey, Energy healing and Circle dancing with the finale featuring Walk on Fire.

The day started well with the field displaying a myriad of stalls with anything from Tarot readings to Reiki, herbs, clothes, jewelry and vegan foods.

Sadly however the rains came and the first Circle dance workshop of the day had to be cancelled but our dancers were not to be deterred, and having the advantage of shelter at Jo's house,they were able to  eat, drink.and dance in the dry  before venturing out again and dancing with the crowd in the late afternoon.

A comment from a participant was

 'just loving the smiles and laughter what joy!'
