I find circle dancing very relaxing and it's good for making friends.
Milngavie Circle Dancer

Travelling from Australia back to UK in 1973 through Singapore, Malaya, Thailand, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Yugoslavia, Italy, France, Germany and Belgium I began a lifelong interest in the wonderful diversity of the cultures and music of the world.

In 1989 I came across Circle Dancing and six years later I trained with Anna Barton from the Findhorn Foundation and began to teach Circle Dance in Glasgow supported by a very loyal group of circle dancers. In 1999 I took up a further training course with Judy King at Sutton Courtney in Oxfordshire. This year I celebrated 20 years of teaching Circle Dancing and am still loving it.

Through Circle Dancing For All and our funding from the Lottery I have been enabled to pass on my circle dance teaching skills to six wonderful trainee teachers aided by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Watch this space - lots more to come!!
